Cognizera is a smart drug released in 2015. Priced at around $70 per bottle, Cognizera certainly isn’t cheap. But is it worth your hard-earned money?
What is Cognizera?
Cognizera is a nootropic priced at around $70 per bottle. The supplement promises enormous cognitive benefits: by taking one capsule daily (there are 30 capsules in each bottle), you can enjoy benefits like:

— Mental Clarity
— Cognitive Precision
The supplement’s manufacturer claims to have been featured on such major media outlets as The New York Times, NBC, CNN Health, and the Chicago Tribune. Despite these claims, we could find no evidence that Cognizera was actually featured on any of these outlets.
The supplement is manufactured by a company named Brain R8 based in Ohio.
How Does Cognizera Work?
Cognizera makes some bold claims about its effectiveness – but does it really have the science and ingredients to back it up?
Let’s start with the ingredients. Cognizera claims to use a 100% pure phosphatidylserine complex. Now, when companies say they use a “100% [Any Ingredient] complex”, it can be a bit misleading. A “Phosphatidylserine complex” is typically a blend of all different ingredients, including phosphatidylserine as the main ingredient. That’s much different than just, say, 100% phosphatidylserine.
In any case, the manufacturer claims that this complex is backed by “research driven human studies” that have verified the “confirmed safety and effectiveness of the supplement.”
When we asked the company to provide evidence of these studies, or explain where Cognizera was tested, we got no response. Furthermore, the company does not feature studies or any other information at its official website – so we really have no idea which scientific studies they’re referencing.
Making things look worse for Cognizera is the fact that the manufacturer has not listed any additional information about its ingredients or formulas: it just mentions “phosphatidylserine complex” once on its sales page.
There’s also no official ingredients list. It seems odd that a company that claims to take major pride in its ingredients would avoid listing any of those ingredients.
In fact, most of the product packaging and online sales page revolves around the benefits of Cognizera – which include everything from “happier mood” to “better overall health” to “improved memory & brain” (seriously, that’s how these benefits are worded at the official sales page).
Cognizera Ingredients
Cognizera does not list any information about its ingredients on the product packaging or on its official website.
There are only two real mentions of ingredients on the official page:
“The cognitive blend in each capsule goes to work immediately supplying your brain with the ingredients needed to enhance your focus, memory and energy.”
Later, the manufacturer goes on to describe how the “Phosphatidylserine complex” inside each pill miraculously achieves all of these benefits.
Typically, nootropic supplement manufacturers want to advertise their full list of ingredients and dosages. After all, the primary way in which customers compare nootropics is through the dosages and strengths. Since Cognizera hasn’t done this, we’re led to assume their formula is weak compared to other supplements.
Making things more suspicious is the fact that the manufacturer advertises the supplement’s “All Natural” formula – despite not listing any ingredients. Is the manufacturer trying to lure in customers who appreciate natural ingredients in spite of the fact it may not actually contain any natural ingredients?

Unsurprisingly, Cognizera is only available online from a single website: Cognizera.com. You won’t find this on Amazon.
The website is filled with claims about how Cognizera is in “limited supply”. You might even see a warning message claiming that Cognizera is only in stock until midnight tonight – at which point I guess it immediately runs out of stock?

It seems weird that a company wouldn’t list its full address online – so we decided to look into Brain R8 a little further.
In addition to making Cognizera, Brain R8 makes a supplement called – appropriately enough – Brain R8. A quick look through that supplement’s sales page reveals that it looks 100% identical to the sales page for Cognizera. The two even use the same packaging. The company describes identical benefits and even similar pricing policies for both supplements.
It appears that Brain R8 may have suffered from a bit of a reputation problem, so the company rebranded it as Cognizera.
Ultimately, based on all of this information and the mysterious list of ingredients, it’s tough to recommend Cognizera to serious nootropic users.
