What is MiraVie?

MiraVie is a new skin cream that recently appeared online. The cream calls itself a “Hollywood secret” that “makes lines and wrinkles vanish”. Although the cream doesn’t mention any celebrity names, it strongly hints that major Hollywood celebrities are using this cream every day.

Even more astonishingly, MiraVie claims to be a superior option than Botox for giving yourself younger-looking skin.

How does one cream come with so many benefits? Does this cream actually work as advertised to make you look 10 years younger? Let’s find out more about this skin cream.

How Does MiraVie Work?

MiraVie works in the exact same way as many other skin creams we’ve reviewed in recent months. The cream promises to use a QuSome delivery system to deliver Biofil spheres beneath the surface of your skin.

This QuSome delivery system allows for a molecule to be heavier and in a spherical shape, which somehow makes it more easily pass through the skin to the lower layers.

Meanwhile, the walls of the penetrating Biofil spheres are made up of natural wheat protein, which “allows for a more sustained release of nutrients, and the wheat acts like a sponge that captures trans-epidermal water loss, resulting in wrinkle reduction”, according to the makers of MiraVie.

Of course, this only covers the delivery system used by the skin cream: it doesn’t actually explain which ingredients are used.

Instead of telling us what you’re putting into your body when you apply MiraVie, the manufacturer instead mentions a bunch of different benefits of the supplement, like:

— Dramatic Skin Repair
— Smoothes Skin
— Counters The Aging Effects Of Stress
— Diminishes Wrinkles

We literally don’t know anything about the ingredients used in MiraVie aside from the QuSome delivery system and Biofil spheres we mentioned above.

Making things look even worse for the makers of MiraVie is that there’s no evidence or citations to back up any of the anti-aging claims.

In other words, MiraVie could be a $5 moisturizer re-packaged as a powerful anti-aging cure for all we know. There’s just no evidence showing us that MiraVie actually works as advertised.

Normally, when a skin care product isn’t backed by much clinical evidence, it’s priced at a cheap rate.

That’s not the case with MiraVie, which is one of the most expensive skin creams we’ve ever reviewed.

The cream isn’t even available to order directly online: you have to work through a trial.

That trial is advertised as being free, but it’s a complete scam. After describing itself as free, the trial then claims that you need to pay a $4.95 fee for shipping and handling. You’ll enter a credit card to pay that fee.

Immediately after you enter your credit card information, your card is pre-authorized to accept a charge of $89.95.

That charge goes through after your 14 day trial period is over (which is 14 days after you ordered the cream regardless of when you actually received the cream).

You will continue to be charged $89.95 plus $4.95 shipping every month until you cancel by calling the customer service hotline at 1-888-537-5319.

Why is this a scam? Well, all of the information explaining these charges is hidden in extremely fine, light-colored print below the main ordering form. You have to scroll down to see this information, and the vast majority of customers will never notice it.

Anyways, when you look up reviews for MiraVie online, you’ll find plenty of customers complaining about the mysterious hundreds of dollars in charges that appeared on their credit cards.

If you already ordered the trial and want to avoid these charges, then call customer service immediately and request a refund. If you return your cream within the 14 day period, you won’t be charged the full price.

MiraVie is made by a company that calls itself MiraVie Skincare. That company doesn’t list a corporate headquarters, manufacturing location, or address. Instead, it simply lists its mailing address as a post office box:

The address listed above has been associated with countless online scams over the years, according to a quick Google search. Other low-quality products associated with the address include Slimming Garcinia, Lumisse, and Garcinia Pure, among other scammy diet pills, beauty creams, and supplements.

Should You Use MiraVie to Reduce Wrinkles?

MiraVie has given us no evidence that it can reduce your wrinkles in any meaningful way. The company refuses to disclose its ingredients or its manufacturing conditions. Making things worse, the product is exclusively available to order through a “free” trial that will actually leave you with over $200 in credit card charges within 30 days after you click the “Order” button.

For all of these reasons, MiraVie is a poor-quality beauty cream that should be avoided by consumers who wish to avoid massive credit card debt.
