Ultimate Male – Patriot Health’s Testosterone Booster

Ultimate Male Review

Ultimate Male calls itself the best male nutritional supplement on the market today. But does it actually boost testosterone levels? Let’s find out in our Ultimate Male review.

What is Ultimate Male?

Ultimate Male is a nutritional supplement created by the Patriot Health Institute.

It promises to be the best supplement a man can take because it increases testosterone production. Testosterone is linked to significant health benefits – like greater energy, better cognition, and enhanced virility and sex drive.

If you think or feel like you have low testosterone, then Ultimate Male is targeted towards you. It’s especially targeted towards older men. One customer testimonial on the official website claims that a “53 year old man” discovered “1 little known secret” that gave him “the super-charged sex drive of a 25 year old…without any deadly drugs or pricey prescriptions.”

With that in mind, let’s take a look at how Ultimate Male works.

How Does Ultimate Male Work?

Ultimate Male tells an entertaining story about how testosterone levels in American men have been plummeting for decades.

One man, Jeff Reagan, decided to bravely take a stand against “Obama and his cronies at the FDA [who] have been secretly destroying men’s testosterone levels for the last 6 years.” That’s the word for word description on the official Patriot Health Institute website.

How did Jeff fight back against Obama’s “secret war against men”? Jeff found out that there were “only a few ingredients that have been scientifically proven by the medical journals to boost testosterone, increase sex drive, and boost your energy.”

By combining these ingredients into one single supplement, Ultimate Male has created the “ultimate male supplement”.

Each capsule contains 1450mg of the 7 following ingredients:

— Tribulus Terrestris
— Horny Goat Weed
— Tongkat Ali
— Yohimbe Extract
— Ashwagandha
— DIM
— Zinc

The truth is: each of these ingredients is backed by at least some clinical evidence suggesting that it works as advertised. The usefulness of all of the above ingredients has been reinforced in multiple studies.

Unfortunately, Ultimate Male only lists the total dosage of the formula: 1450mg. We don’t know the specific dosage of any of the ingredients. That makes it difficult to compare Ultimate Male to scientific tests. We’ll take a look at each specific ingredient in the next section.

Ultimate Male Ingredients

Do the ingredients in Ultimate Male actually work? All we know is that there are 1450mg total of all of the following ingredients.

— Tribulus Terrestris: This herbal extract was used in ancient Indian (Ayurvedic) medicine as a natural treatment for virility. Modern scientific testing has shown us that chemical compounds within tribulus terrestris called saponins are what give the ingredient its health-boosting benefits. A daily dose of 200 to 450mg is typically used to enhance libido.

— Horny Goat Weed: Horny goat weed is an herb used to make medicine. WebMD.com explains that horny goat weed may help increase blood flow and improve sexual function, although there’s “insufficient evidence” that it can help treat anything related to sexual dysfunction in men.

— Tongkat Ali: Also known as Eurycoma Longifolia Jack, or Longjack, tongkat ali is an aphrodisiac that has demonstrated its ability to boost libido in several major studies. In one study, participants were observed to experience a libido increase of 8.4 to 10.8%. When taking tongkat ali for sexual dysfunction, you typically take a 200 to 300mg dose of a 100:1 extract of the plant once or twice per day.

— Yohimbe Extract: Yohimbe extract is traditionally used in western Africa as an aphrodisiac. Unfortunately, as WebMD.com explains, yohimbe bark extract isn’t the same as yohimbine hydrochloride, a popular prescription treatment for impotence that has been around since the 1930s. Yohimbe bark extract hasn’t demonstrated increased sexual function in any major studies to date.

Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is another Ayurvedic plant used in traditional Indian medicine. Studies have shown that the optimal dose of ashwagandha for erectile dysfunction is 6000mg per day, divided into three separate doses of 2000mg. Since Ultimate Male only contains 1450mg total of formula, it’s nowhere near the recommended dose for ashwagandha.

— DIM: DIM, or Diindolylmethane, works in a different way than most testosterone-boosting ingredients. DIM actually inhibits a type of estrogen in your body, which raises testosterone levels relative to your estrogen levels. DIM is a relatively new compound, so we don’t have a whole lot of research available yet. The compound is found in vegetables like broccoli, kale, and cauliflower. Typical recommended dose is 3 to 6mg/kg in an adult human.

— Zinc: Out of all the compounds on this list, zinc is the one that is backed up by the largest number of scientific studies. Zinc has been shown to increase testosterone levels – especially in men who are deficient in zinc already. The recommended daily dosage is 25 to 45mg.

Ultimately, without knowing the specific dosage of these ingredients, it’s impossible to say whether or not these ingredients work as advertised. The 1450mg formula could consist mostly of Tribulus Terrestris and trace amounts of the other ingredients, for all we know.

The manufacturer claims they have found the perfect ratio for all of the above ingredients. But there’s absolutely no evidence supporting that claim. And since Ultimate Male has never been studied on its own, we can’t say whether or not it works.

What we do know is that the recommended dosage for ingredients like ashwagandha is 5 times stronger than the total dosage of all ingredients in a serving of Ultimate Male.

Based on this information, we can conclude that Ultimate Male uses the right ingredients: it just uses them in extremely low dosages.

Ultimate Male Pricing

Ultimate Male is available at the following prices:

— 1 Bottle: $58.95
— 3 Bottles: $149.99
— 5 Bottles: $149.99

All prices include shipping.

The 3 bottle and 5 bottle pricing isn’t a typo, by the way: the creator of the program really wants you to buy either 1 bottle or 5 bottles because it claims the 5 bottles are available through some special promotional campaign.

In reality it’s just a marketing ploy to convince you that it’s worth it to buy the 5 bottle package.

All purchases made through PatriotHealthAlliance.com come with a handful of bonuses, including:

— 21 Sneaky Tricks to Look & Feel Younger eBook
— Hotter Sex in 7 Days eBook

The manufacturer also claims to donate “a portion of your sale” to the Fisher House Charity, an organization that helps wounded military men and women.

Your purchase also comes with a “200% money back guarantee”. If you follow the directions on the supplement and did not notice increased energy levels or sex drive, then the creator of the capsule will give you 200% of your money back.

About Patriot Health Alliance

Patriot Health Alliance, also known as the Patriot Health Institute, is one of the more unique supplement makers on the market today. The company is best-known for its Patriot Power Greens.

The company is also known for being weirdly right wing. The sales page for Ultimate Male talks about how “Obama and his cronies at the FDA have been secretly destroying men’s testosterone levels for the last 6 years.”

Other sales pages for the company also talk about how they’re not trying to “appease any “politically correct” liberals that might be reading.”

Why is a nutritional supplement maker trying to talk to us about politics? I don’t know. But Patriot Health Institute’s political leanings can be seen in virtually every product and sales copy produced by the company.

Even when you’re on the Ultimate Male ordering form, you’ll see things like “Don’t be like the whiny liberals that never take responsibility for their life.”

Why is this relevant on a sales page for a testosterone supplement? Beats me. But it makes working with the company feel like you’re working with some annoying teenager who just took their first political science class.

You can contact Patriot Health Institute by phone at 1-800-230-8956. The company’s mailing address is as follows:

Patriot Health Institute
4322 Harding Pike Suite 417, PMB 102
Nashville, TN 37205

Should You Take Ultimate Male To Raise Testosterone Levels?

Ultimate Male promises to be the best supplement a man can take to raise testosterone levels.

True to its name, Ultimate Male includes a list of 7 popular testosterone boosting compounds taken by men all over the world. These testosterone boosting ingredients have demonstrated real evidence in major scientific studies to boost testosterone levels.

There’s one big problem with Ultimate Male: the dosage is so weak that it’s unlikely to have any effect on your body. To put the weak dosage in perspective, each capsule of Ultimate Male contains 1450mg of formula in total. Ashwagandha extract, which is just one ingredient out of 7, is shown to increase testosterone when taken in doses of 6000mg or higher.

For these reasons, it’s unlikely that Ultimate Male is worth your $30 to $60 for a one month supply.
