Get Real Nutrition – 100% Organic Supplement Retailer

Get Real Nutrition Review

Get Real Nutrition is a nutritional supplement retailer that promises to provide organic, vegan-friendly, gluten-free supplements like probiotics and “superjuice” beverages. Here’s our Get Real Nutrition review.

What is Get Real Nutrition?

Get Real Nutrition is an American company that sells a number of different nutritional supplements, including a metabolism boosting supplement, a fermented superjuice beverage, an omega supplement, and a probiotic blend.

Get Real Nutrition products are sold at health food stores across America.

One of the company’s main goals is to simplify the shopping process for those who want real organic and real non-GMO supplements: not just supplements that manufacturers have attached meaningless labels to.

Get Real Nutrition is family-owned and headquartered in North Palm Beach, Florida.

The Get Real Nutrition 10 Promises

The company is known for its 10 promises. All of its products live up to the following promises:

1) USDA Certified Organic

2) GMO Free

3) Real Food

4) Vegan

5) Gluten Free

6) Sprouted

7) Fermented

8) Allergen 8 Free

9) Hand-Cultivated

10) Eco-Regenerative Packaging

If you’re like me, then you may not understand what a few of those things mean.

USDA certified organic is America’s number one most popular (and most important) organic certification process. There’s an enormous difference between a product claiming to be just “organic” and for it to claim its “USDA-certified organic”. Just calling your product “organic” doesn’t mean anything: there’s no third party certification involved. USDA-certified organic requires third party certification from the USDA.

Meanwhile, the real foods promise means that the supplements contain:

“no concentrates, extracts, isolates or synthetics. Just real fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices and seeds.”

Sprouted means that all of the seeds and legumes are grown in the traditional way because that’s the best way to “liberate and unlock the full potential.”

Fermented is described as a “most ancient of technologies” that “not only pre-digests but transforms whole food into a higher form of nutrition.”

Allergen 8 Free means that the supplements are free of the top 8 most common allergens in the world, including dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, and wheat.

Finally, Eco-Regenerative packaging is a bit of a mystery. Get Real Nutrition appears to be the only company on the internet that uses the term “eco-regenerative” for its packaging. The company describes the packaging as “Setting a new standard for truly sustainable, eco-friendly packaging.” Although it doesn’t describe what that actually means. The packaging is recyclable and compostable and the company doesn’t use plastic bottles, although they don’t describe any further details about the technology behind the packaging.

Ultimately, the promises listed above give you an idea of what Get Real Nutrition is all about with its supplements and ingredients. The company is committed to a sustainable world and eco-friendly approach to nutritional supplement manufacturing.

If you’re not willing to pay a little more for supplements that implement eco-friendly promises, then Get Real Nutrition is probably not the right choice for you.

Get Real Nutrition Products and Supplements

Get Real Nutrition separates its lineup of supplements into four different sections. It calls these four sections the Core 4 Foundational Nutrition Program because they collectively target the body’s most important health needs. The four supplement categories include Fermented Superjuice, Multi Metabolite, Real Omega, and Real Probiotic.

Each supplement category is separated further into four different categories based on your health goals, including Brain (for boosting cognitive ability), Fit (for boosting athletic performance), Cleanse (for ridding your body of toxins), and Immune (for boosting immune system functionality).

Fermented Superjuice

The Fermented Superjuice is a nutritional beverage you drink daily for nutritional support. The four different Superjuice blends target different health goals.

Fermented SuperJuice Brain, for example, contains ingredients like purple maize, blueberry, and purple carrot combined with Chinese and Ayurvedic herbs purported to boost cognitive ability.

Fermented SuperJuice Fit, on the other hand, contains purple maize mixed with green leaf lettuce, blackberry, and spinach. The Cleanse adds ingredients like lemon, cherry, and sweet pepper, while the Immune blend uses ingredients like pomegranate, grape, and garlic.

There is no nutritional information listed for any of these beverages – so we don’t know the exact dosage of any of the ingredients or how much of your RDI gets covered by each serving. Instead, the company just lists four of the ingredients in each supplement – which isn’t enough information for those who like to be really careful about what they’re putting into their bodies.

Multi Metabolite

The Multi Metabolite lineup includes four formulas (Immune, Cleanse, Fit, and Brain) that promise to provide your daily recommended value of different enzymes and vitamins.

Some of the ingredients included within these blends are curcuminoids from turmeric, withanolides from ashwagandha, anthocyanins from chia, terpenes from ginseng, and EGCG from green tea.

Once again, none of the Multi Metabolite products come with any nutritional information – so you can’t figure out how much of your recommended daily value of any nutrients is coming from each serving.

Real Omega

Real Omega gives you some amount of omega 3, 6, and 9 fatty acids from various seed sources.

Once again, Get Real Nutrition doesn’t explain how much of each fatty acid you’re getting in the supplement. Weirdly enough, some of the omega supplements – like Real Omega Fit – also include caffeine and ingredients like cinnamon and cacao.

Real Omega doesn’t promise to provide your daily recommended value of omega fatty acids, but it does promise to give you some amount of these fatty acids.

Real Probiotic

The Real Probiotic lineup of products claims to “take your digestive health to the next level” by using ingredients found in Nigerian super foods like Ogiri and Dadawa. These foods contain high levels of probiotics – which are beneficial bacteria known to improve gut health.

Once again, none of these product listings are accompanied with nutritional information. In cases where you can see nutritional information, most of the ingredients are hidden behind proprietary formulas that make it difficult to determine how much of any ingredient you’re putting into your body.

The Core 4 Foundational Nutrition Program

The creator of Get Real Nutrition, Jordan Rubin, claims to have worked in the field of nutrition for the last 20 years.

Jordan heavily promotes his Core 4 Foundational Nutrition Program. Conveniently enough, that program uses all of the four nutritional supplement categories sold by Get Real Nutrition. The program works like this:

Step 1) Pick a Real Probiotic formula to start removing waste and detoxifying your body.

Step 2) Pick a Multi Metabolite powder to “inherit the wisdom of nature”.

Step 3) Pick a Fermented Superjuice powder to boost your nutrient profile with over 30 vegetables and fruits in each serving

Step 4) Choose a Real Omega formula to get your daily recommended intake of fatty acids

By doing this, you can establish a rock solid foundation for your health that will help you achieve your health and fitness goals – or at least that’s the idea.

What is the Eco-Regenerative Packaging?

You can learn more about the Eco-Regenerative Packaging used on Get Real Nutrition products here: http://ift.tt/1lcCqhR

That packaging involves using compostable materials and 100% recyclable pouches.

The company doesn’t really explain the technology behind this packaging. It does claim that it wants to leave a smaller carbon footprint by creating fewer empty bottles and less wasted packaging.
