Force Factor GainZzz Review
Force Factor GainZzz is a sleep supplement targeted towards bodybuilders. It promises to help you boost your gains through a healthy night’s sleep. Here’s our review.
What is Force Factor GainZzz?
Force Factor GainZzz is a bodybuilding supplement that promises to optimize a part of your lifestyle you may have overlooked: your sleep.
The supplement argues that some of the most important muscle-building occurs while we sleep. Your body recovers, builds new muscle, and gets you prepared for your next workout.
A good sleep is especially important if you’re taking a lot of bodybuilding supplements – like caffeine-heavy preworkouts. Taking high levels of caffeine can affect your sleep patterns – even if you don’t always feel it.
With that in mind, Force Factor GainZzz promises to:
— Reduce ImmunoSuppression
— Prepare Your Mind And Body For Sleep
— Maintain Strength
How Does Force Factor GainZzz Work?
Force Factor GainZzz claims to promote a good sleep, which thereby “induces regeneration and repair” while also increasing the production of “natural anabolic hormones”.
It promises to do that using a “new, smart formula” that was “developed by the Harvard- and MIT-trained scientists” at Force Factor.
What’s in that formula? Force Factor GainZzz uses three different formulas, including a Body Recuperation Complex, Mind Relaxation Matrix, and a Sleep Rejuvenation Blend:
— Body Recuperation Complex: Includes antioxidant formulas like CherryPURE and AuroraBLUE to “lighten the oxidative burden” on your body and shorten recovery times.
— Mind Relaxation Matrix: The Mind Relaxation Matrix uses ingredients like L-Glutamic Acid and pure GABA to “reduce stress, tension, and anxiety” to help you feel more relaxed and focused.
— Sleep Rejuvenation Blend: This final formula includes L-Taurine, holy basil leaf powder, and melatonin to help promote your natural sleep cycle.
Out of all of the ingredients listed above, melatonin is the only one that has been definitively linked to healthier sleep patterns. Typically, the recommended dose of melatonin is between 0.5 and 10mg to promote healthy sleep. Since the manufacturer of Force Factor GainZzz hasn’t listed the dosage of any of these ingredients, it’s impossible to say whether or not there’s an adequate dose of melatonin inside.
Meanwhile, other ingredients appear to be trademarked formulas made from various natural ingredients. Instead of including the pure, natural forms of ingredients like blueberries and cherries, Force Factor appears to have modified and formulated these ingredients in a lab and labelled them with names like CherryPURE and AuroraBLUE, which may have reduced some of the benefits you would have received if they were straight natural compounds.
Force Factor GainZzz Ingredients
One of the major criticisms of GainZzz is that it doesn’t list its ingredients. Instead, all of the ingredients are listed behind one proprietary formula. In other words, we don’t know the specific amounts of any substance included in the supplement, which makes it pretty much impossible to assess the effects.
Here’s what the ingredients chart of Force Factor GainZzz looks like:
As you can see, that chart is pretty much useless. The manufacturer appears to have deliberately obfuscated its ingredients list by hiding everything behind a “Muscle Recovery Superblend”.
Typically, a manufacturer will do this if they’re not proud of their dosage information. If you want people to believe you have a powerful supplement even though it’s underpowered, then you’d hide it behind a proprietary formula.
Making things look worse for Force Factor GainZzz is that the company never lists any scientific evidence or clinical trials for the supplement.
Ultimately, that means there’s absolutely no evidence showing that Force Factor GainZzz works as advertised.

About Force Factor
Force Factor is the manufacturer behind GainZzz. The manufacturer is responsible for a number of other popular bodybuilding supplements that recently hit the market, including testosterone boosters (like Test X180), nitric oxide boosters (like VolcaNO), pre-workout powders (like BRX), and post workout recovery products (like Performance Protein).
The company was founded in 2009 by two Harvard University rowers. Products are sold through ForceFactor.com as well as through major nutrition supplement retailers like GNC.
The company lists its US mailing address as:
105 Commerce Dr.Aston, PA 19014
However, the company is headquartered in Boston, MA 02108.
Ultimately, Force Factor GainZzz suffers from the same problem as many other Force Factor supplements: the company has made the mind-boggling decision to hide all of its ingredients behind proprietary formulas, which means you don’t know the dosage of any of the ingredients being put into your body.
At the same time, Force Factor has not invested in any type of clinical testing – which makes it impossible to say whether or not the supplement works as advertised.
