Memphora Review
Memphora is a nootropic supplement that promises to be the best cognitive enhancer in the world today. Here’s our Memphora review.
What is Memphora?
Memphora is a nutritional supplement classified as a nootropic, which means it enhances various aspects of your brain. Memphora specifically promises to increase your focus, energy, and mental performance.
Memphora contains a large amount of caffeine. However, the manufacturer claims that they use this caffeine in a different way than energy drinks and coffee use it:
“Caffeinated and standard energy drinks merely boost your energy, but how can you expect to focus? This is the Memphora difference.”
To help you focus, Memphora contains a “precise blend” of high-quality ingredients. In addition to caffeine, the supplement contains Rhodiola rosea, DMAE, and vitamins B6 and B12.
Let’s take a closer look at how these ingredients work and whether or not they’re backed up by scientific evidence.
How Does Memphora Work?
Memphora claims to increase your energy, boost your focus, boost your memory, and enhance your brain health. It achieves these benefits using all of the following ingredients:
— Caffeine: The stimulating effects of caffeine are purportedly balanced out by the other ingredients in Memphora, which is why the supplement claims to not give you jitters or other unwanted side effects.
— GABA: This inhibitory neurotransmitter “prevents over-excitement to maintain focus”, according to the makers of Memphora.
— L-Tyrosine: This amino acid helps your body produce different neurotransmitters, including those responsible for mental alertness.
— Bacopa Monnieri: Bacopa monnieri increases blood flow to the brain while boosting cognitive functions.
— Alpha GPC: “Helps proper functioning of neurotransmission, integral to healthy cognition”, according to the makers of Memphora.
— Vinpocetine: Vinpocetine is a popular nootropic compound that is thought to work by enhancing the way your brain utilizes glucose, which then boosts ATP (cellular) energy production.
— Huperzine A: This compound inhibits acetylcholinesterase, which is the enzyme that breaks down acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter primarily responsible for memory formation, so Huperzine A is thought to enhance your brain’s ability to form new memories.
Looking through these ingredients, we have several nootropic compounds that are backed up by a significant amount of science. Alpha GPC, Vinpocetine, Huperzine A, and L-Tyrosine have all been studied by major organizations. In many cases, they’ve been studied for their ability to treat Alzheimer’s disease and treat the symptoms of other degenerative neurological conditions.
There’s no question that Memphora uses good ingredients. The real question comes down to how strong those ingredients are. So what exactly is the dosage of the ingredients in Memphora? Let’s take a closer look.
Memphora Ingredients
Memphora contains all of the following ingredients (dosages are not listed):
Caffeine, L-Tyrosine, GABA, Bacopa Monnieri, Alpha GPC, Vinpocetine, Huperzine A, DMAE, Rhodiola Rosea, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12
The way we compare nootropics is by looking at their ingredients first, and then the dosage of each ingredient.
Unfortunately, Memphora has refused to provide dosage information for its ingredients. It just lists all of the above ingredients and then cites studies where they use a specific dosage of those ingredients. Since we don’t know Memphora’s dosages, we don’t know if those studies apply to Memphora.
We know that vinpocetine is very effective at doses between 20mg and 60mg, for example, and that dosage has been reinforced in dozens of studies. But we don’t know if Memphora contains 1mg of vinpocetine, 5mg of vinpocetine, or 60mg.
Not knowing the dosages can also be dangerous – Memphora lists caffeine as one of its most active ingredients. We’ve seen nootropics contain as much as 200mg of caffeine, which is the same amount as 2.5 cups of coffee or 2 Red Bulls. Even if you’re not caffeine-sensitive, taking that high of a dosage in capsule form can be dangerous. If you are caffeine-sensitive, it can be downright dangerous and leave you feeling nauseous and jittery.
Ultimately, good nootropics manufacturers happily provide their dosage information. Bad nootropic manufacturers like to hide their dosage information because they know it’s extremely low and weak.
Memphora Pricing
Memphora is priced at the following rates through the official website, Memphora.com:
— 1 Bottle: $49.95
— 3 Bottles: $114.95
— 5 Bottles: $149.95
You cannot currently purchase Memphora from any other website or retail outlet. It’s only available through the official manufacturer.
Each bottle is listed as a one month supply, although it’s unclear what the recommended daily serving is (once again, dosage and ingredient information is hidden from us).
All purchases come with a 100% money back guarantee. You can pay by VISA, MasterCard, or American Express.
Who Makes Memphora?
Memphora is made by a company named Ultimate Management LLC. That company is based at the following address:
Ultimate Management LLC.100 E Center St – Suite 2503
Madison, SD 57042
Oddly enough, the manufacturer lists that address as being in “Canada” on their contact page, Memphora.com, although it’s very clearly an office building in rural South Dakota.
You can contact the makers of Memphora by phone at (877) 357-6616 or by email form here: http://ift.tt/24AQzZ2
Should You Use Memphora to Boost Cognition?
To the untrained eye, Memphora looks like a great nootropic supplement: it lists the right ingredients and it’s available at a fair price, $50 for a one month supply.
Unfortunately, a closer look reveals that Memphora is likely little more than a caffeine pill with trace amounts of nootropic compounds added on. The makers of the supplement never list its dosage information. Typically, manufacturers love to brag about their dosages because it’s the best way for customers to compare different nootropics.
Memphora has taken a different approach by hiding its dosage information, which doesn’t suggest that it’s an effective or powerful nootropic supplement.
