Modafy Review – Right Choice For You?
Modafy is a nootropic stack taken daily to improve your cognition, memory, and focus. Here’s our Modafy review.
What is Modafy?
Modafy is a nootropic smart drug that claims to use clinically-backed ingredients and a powerful stack to achieve enormous cognitive effects.
Priced at around $60 for a monthly supply, Modafy comes in the form of a capsule or a powder. The powder is actually labeled as Modafy Matcha. Matcha is a type of green tea formula that is linked to its own health benefits and cognitive boost.
Like many other nootropic supplements found online today, Modafy uses Alpha GPC, guarana, caffeine, and L-theanine to achieve its effects. Each serving of Modafy has about the same caffeine as 1.5 cups of coffee.
By blending caffeine, L-theanine, and B vitamins with popular nootropic compounds like Alpha GPC, Modafy claims to have made one of the world’s best nootropics. Let’s take a closer look at how it works.
How Does Modafy Work?
You take three capsules of Modafy daily to achieve its nootropic benefits. The manufacturer recommends that you take the capsules before breakfast. You should also drink 1.5 to 2 liters of water daily when taking Modafy.
After taking Modafy, you should notice the ingredients quickly start to go to work. The supplement’s active ingredients include:
–Vitamins: Each serving has 1000% of your daily recommended vitamin B12, 200% of vitamin B3, and 357% of vitamin B6.
-Caffeine and L-Theanine: Each serving contains 150mg of caffeine (about the same as 1.5 cups of coffee) along with 300mg of L-theanine, which is a popular dosage combination among nootropics users.
-Guarana: Guarana is a natural stimulant. There’s 150mg of guarana in Modafy. You can find guarana in many popular energy drinks.
–Phosphatidylserine 20%: There’s 200mg of phosphatidylserine in each serving of Modafy. Phosphatidylserine is a popular memory boosting formula that helps to deliver all of the other ingredients more effectively.
–Alpha GPC: There’s 400mg of 50% Alpha GPC inside each serving of Modafy. Alpha GPC is a very popular nootropic that has been repeatedly studied for its ability to help treat symptoms of Alzheimer’s and other degenerative neurological conditions. It has demonstrated its effectiveness in a number of major studies to date.
Ultimately, Modafy seems to use the right nootropic ingredients at the right dosages – although most of those dosages are fairly low. Typically, scientific studies use a dose of 1,200mg per day of Alpha GPC, for example. That dose has demonstrated great effectiveness at combating the effects of degenerative neurological conditions. Meanwhile, Modafy uses a dose of one third the strength. That’s a significant difference.
The other ingredients – including caffeine, guarana, and B vitamins, are also fairly common ingredients that you can find in any energy drink. So basically, each capsule is an energy drink mixed with a small amount of nootropics.
It’s also important to remember that if you’re caffeine-sensitive and you’re taking Modafy, then you may want to reduce your dose. 150mg is about the same amount of caffeine as two Red Bulls. If you’re taking three capsules of Modafy on an empty stomach, then even those who are accustomed to caffeine may notice a jittery sensation and other unwanted caffeine side effects.

Should You Use Modafy for Cognitive Benefits?
Modafy advertises itself as a powerful nootropic stack of proven ingredients. It does indeed contain proven ingredients, although the dosage is relatively small compared to what we’ve seen from most nootropic studies.
That being said, Modafy does contain high levels of caffeine, L-theanine, guarana, and B vitamins, which are mostly the same ingredients you can find in energy drinks to give you that extra boost of energy. It contains relatively small amounts of Alpha GPC and other nootropic compounds, but it’s still a noticeable dosage.
Ultimately, at a price of $50 (plus a pricey $20 international shipping fee), Modafy may be beyond the budget of the average nootropics user – especially since you can get an energy drink with similar ingredients at any convenience store for $2 or $3.

I tried Modafy and the results are great. I think the main reason is the mix of Alpha GPC and caffeine. It really boost brain function while keeping you awake. If you want to know more about Alpha GPC, have a look at my experience here : http://nootropicsexperts.com/alpha-gpc/
