UltraLite Nutrition ProlaZyme Review
Ultralite Nutrition’s ProlaZyme is a nutritional supplement that claims to be loaded with over 100 enzymes and nutrients needed to support healthy digestion. Here’s our ProlaZyme review.
What is ProlaZyme?
ProlaZyme is a dietary supplement that promises to help you support healthy digestion. Priced at $69 for a one month supply (60 capsules), ProlaZyme certainly isn’t as cheap as an ordinary digestive health supplement. So what makes it so expensive?
The company behind ProlaZyme claims to have loaded each capsule with a wide range of:
— Enzymes
— Vitamins
— Minerals
— Fatty Acids
— Free Amino Acids
— Antioxidants
— Probiotics
Together, these ingredients boost your digestive health. By raising your digestive health, you can increase energy levels, boost your immune system, and even encourage muscle development – at least, these are the claims made by the manufacturer.
How Does ProlaZyme Work?
ProlaZyme is essentially a probiotic supplement combined with a multivitamin. The manufacturer has also added herbal extracts and other compounds to give your body everything it needs to support good digestive health.
The manufacturer specifically lists six active ingredients and ingredient groups as the main ingredients within ProlaZyme:
— Enzymes: ProlaZyme contains food enzymes like papain, chymopapian, and bromelain, all of which help you digest food in your stomach. Every time your body eats food, these enzymes need to break down that food in order to efficiently extract nutrients. When your body doesn’t have sufficient levels of these enzymes, it can make it difficult to extract the right nutrients from the food you’re eating.
— Papian and Chymopapian: Both of these ingredients are officially classified as enzymes, although ProlaZyme also devotes a special section of its ingredients list to each. Both enzymes come from unripened papaya. They’ve been shown to reduce inflammation and work as antioxidants to improve the overall health of your immune system.
— Bromelain: Found in the core of a pineapple, bromelain is another enzyme that specifically helps with breaking down dairy and meat. Many bodybuilders will actually take a bromelain supplement because bromelain has been shown to relax muscles and help your body get rid of fat.
— Super Greens Power Blend: This concentrated plant food is rich with vitamins like copper, potassium, calcium, manganese, zinc, enzymes, and chlorophyll. ProlaZyme claims to use this enzyme to help encourage new cell growth within your body, restore pH balance, and energize your cells.
— Hippophae Ramnoids: Also known as sea buckthorn, this is a superfood that contains 190 nutrients and phytonutrients, including 14 essential vitamins and omega 3, 6, 7, and 9 fatty acids.
— Probiotics: All of the probiotics within ProlaZyme come from the Bacillus family. Every serving of ProlaZyme contains 12.5 billion CFUs of good bacteria per serving. This is the “probiotic” part of the ProlaZyme supplement.
ProlaZyme Ingredients
ProlaZyme claims to contain all of the ingredients listed above.
However, the creators of ProlaZyme never actually provide a complete ingredient label for ProlaZyme – which would tell us exactly how much of any ingredient is included within the supplement.
Since we don’t have that information, all we can do is piece together clues from the scant details on the supplement’s official product description. Here’s what we do know about the ingredients:
— Contains “more than 100 different kinds of nutrients and loaded with enzymes, bio-active substances, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, free amino acids, and antioxidants”
— Contains food enzymes like papain, chymopapian, and bromelain
— Contains a blend of ingredients in a green “power blend”, including copper, potassium, calcium, iron, zinc, manganese, enzymes, and chlorophyll
— Contains sea buckthorn, which claims to have over 190 nutrients, 14 essential nutrients (vitamins C, A, E, and K), and omega fatty acids (3, 6, 7, and 9)
— Contains 5 different strains of Bacillus family probiotics for a total of 12.5 billion CFUs
All of these ingredients sound good and most have well-known, verified scientific benefits. However, since we don’t know the exact dosage of any ingredient within ProlaZyme, it’s difficult to say whether or not ProlaZyme is actually beneficial.
How to Take ProlaZyme
ProlaZyme is easy to take: adults and children (over the age of 12) are advised to take two tablets daily to support their overall health and digestive health.
