Vyderal Review
Vyderal claims to be the most powerful nootropic on the market today. Does it live up to its promises or fall short? Here’s our review.
What is Vyderal?
Vyderal is a recently-released nootropic supplement that promises to be the most powerful nootropic on the market today.
Using the natural ingredients in Vyderal, you can make your brain fire “on all cylinders” and ensure that “no obstacle will stand in your way.”
Some of the benefits promised by Vyderal include:
— Heightened Mental Focus
— Improved Mood
— Peak Mental Performance
Some of the key ingredients in the formula include B vitamins, caffeine, vinpocetine, and choline bitartrate. There’s 150mg of caffeine in total, which is a pretty significant amount of caffeine (a Rockstar energy drink has 160 to 170mg of caffeine, to put that number in perspective).
Keep reading to discover how Vyderal works and what each of its ingredients do.
How Does Vyderal Work?
Vyderal lists 8 specific active ingredients in the supplement that make it work. Those 8 active ingredients include:
— Kola Nut Caffeine (75mg): Kola nuts are caffeine-rich nuts native to tropical Africa and traditionally chewed before meals to help promote digestion.
— Green Tea Leaf Caffeine (75mg): Green tea leaf acts as a stimulant to the central nervous system. The manufacturer of Vyderal claims this helps to restore alertness and temporarily eliminate drowsiness.
— Teacrine: Teacrine is a trademarked antioxidant formula that contains 98% theacrine. Theacrine is a molecule that claims to deliver more energy to your muscles, increase mental alertness, and boost your mood and motivation.
— Choline Bitartrate (200mg): Choline bitartrate is the building block your brain needs to produce acetylcholine neurotransmitters, which are the same neurotransmitters we use to form new memories. Studies have shown that taking a choline supplement can improve your memory, intelligence, and mood while also helping other nootropics work more effectively.
— L-Theanine (50mg): L-Theanine is a naturally-occurring amino acid that promises to improve energy levels, reduce stress, improve neuron health, and enhance focus.
— Vitamin B12 (700mcg): Vitamin B12 plays a key role in the development of red blood cells and nerve cells. It’s also a common ingredient in energy formulas – like energy drinks – because it raises cellular energy and helps your body process carbs into energy.
— L-Carnitine (250mg): L-carnitine is created in the body from two amino acids: lysine and methionine. However, many of us have low levels of l-carnitine because we don’t eat enough meat. L-carnitine shuttles fatty acids from the blood into the mitochondria where they can be transformed into energy.
— Vinpocetine (15mg): Vinpocetine is a synthetic formula that has repeatedly demonstrated its nootropic value in numerous scientific studies.
One of the big problems with Vyderal is its low dosages: most Vinpocetine studies have used 30 to 40mg of vinpocetine. One recent study noted an improvement in reaction time with a 40mg tablet of vinpocetine, for example.
Typical daily doses for Vinpocetine among nootropics users range from 15 to 60mg – so each two tablet serving of Vyderal with 15mg of Vinpocetine would be considered relatively weak.
Choline, on the other hand, actually has an FDA-recommended dosage. The FDA recommends that men should take 550mg each day, while women should take 425mg. Nootropic users will often take as much as 3,000mg of choline bitartrate per day to boost their brain power.
That makes the 200mg of choline bitartrate in Vyderal seem weak.
These low dosages are a problem for a nootropic that calls itself the most powerful nootropic on the market today.
Vyderal Ingredients
The creators of Vyderal have published their full list of ingredients – which is surprisingly rare among modern nootropic supplements. Here’s what the ingredients chart looks like:

Who Makes Vyderal?
Vyderal is made by a company named MJAC Industries, LLC. That company is headquartered at the following address:
MJAC Industries, LLC3363 McCue Rd, Ste 254
Houston, TX 77056
Ultimately, Vyderal is a relatively underpowered nutritional supplement that makes bold claims about being the most powerful nutritional supplement on the market today. Despite those claims, Vyderal contains relatively weak nootropic ingredients. Instead of containing high levels of proven nootropic ingredients, the manufacturer has decided to include large amounts of ingredients like caffeine and B vitamins – both of which you can find in an average energy drink. For all of these reasons, Vyderal is unlikely to give you the genuine nootropic benefits you’re looking for.
It will, however, give you a boost of energy similar to what you’d get by drinking coffee or an energy drink.
