TeloVite Review – Is It Right For You?
West/Martin Longevity TeloVite is a multivitamin company that produces an advanced type of multivitamin to cater to specific needs. This is our review.
What is TeloVite?
West/Martin Longevity TeloVite is a multivitamin company that produces an advanced type of multivitamin to cater to specific needs. TeloVite is their main product, which states that it is different from other multivitamins offered on the market, in that the particular nutrients, antioxidants, and phytonutrients help promote a healthy telomere length.
TeloVite Ingredients
The makers of TeloVite include a list of all of the “other” ingredients included in TeloVite, which all are considered Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA. This list is as follows:
· Stearic Acid
· Microcrystalline Cellulose
· Dicalcium Phosphate
· Croscarmellose Sodium
· Magnesium Stearate
· Silicon Dioxide
· Shellac
· Povidone
Stearic Acid and Magnesium Stearate
Stearic acid is listed as being a natural fatty acid that converts to oleic acid, which is an acid found in olive oil. Magnesium stearate is stated by the company to be a combination of the mineral magnesium, and stearic acid. Upon further research, stearic acid research has been proven to reduce T cells, which are essential to your immune system. Stearic acid is also responsible for destroying cell function in your immune system. Since it is an ingredient in magnesium stearate, that means both ingredients are potentially detrimental to your health.
Microcrystalline Cellulose
According to the makers of TeloVite, microcrystalline cellulose is a “plant-based form of fiber that helps the tablet to breakdown and release its nutrients once in the body.” However, many health websites state that this is a harmful filler in many multivitamins, but the way is not described specifically.
Dicalcium Phosphate
Dicalcium Phosphate is described as a “naturally-occurring mineral providing a source of the essential nutrients calcium and phosphorus.” The mineral is typically found in prepared breakfast cereals, toothpaste, and other substances. While the amount of dicalcium phosphate found in TeloVite is not stated, an excessive amount can lead to gastrointestinal problems.
Croscarmellose Sodium
Croscarmellose Sodium is described by the makers of TeloVite as a “plant-based form of fiber that helps the tablet to breakdown and release its nutrients once in the body.” Realistically, the mineral is used to quickly process the supplement quickly to the intestines. The only warning regarding this ingredient is if the tablet was left outside of the container, which could result in the supplement dispersing through the stomach instead of the intestines, preventing TeloVite from working properly.
Silicon Dioxide
The only details states about silicon dioxide is that it is also referred to as silica, according to TeloVite’s makers. Silica is available in multiple forms, but is often found in gel packets to maintain freshness in shoes, purses, and other accessories.
Shellac
Shellac is described by West/Martin Longevity as “a natural resin used to coat tablets.” Shellac is also used in nontoxic tattoos.
Povidone
Povidone is listed as “an inert (harmless) water-soluble polymer used as part of the tablet coating.” WebMD states that povidone should not be used for “patients with known or suspected sensitivity to iodine, children aged under 2 years or premature babies (depending on brand), deep wounds. Povidone iodine should not be used regularly in thyroid disease, or in patients receiving lithium treatment.”
How Does TeloVite Work?
The makers of TeloVite focus on the multivitamins ability to promote healthy telomere length. Telomere is described by the company as “protective DNA caps on ends of our chromosomes,” comparing them to the “the tips on shoelaces, and just like the shoelace that becomes frayed and unusable as its tip breaks down, the chromosome stops transmitting genetic information and ceases to divide and replicate.”
While the website doesn’t say how longer telomeres are essential to an individual’s health, they do state that youthful telomeres are “very likely” to impact promoting cardiovascular, blood sugar, and cellular health, which implies that they are actually unsure of what they do.
One of the other main focuses of TeloVite is that it has 14 ingredients that other multivitamins don’t have, which are apparently the other keys to extend the lifespan of your cell’s DNA, helping to impact the length of your life. Since many consumers in today’s society want to find ways to lengthen their lives, that is usually the point that resides with potential consumers.
While the website states that TeloVite has no negative effects with other supplements or medications, it does state that combining the product with other medications and supplements should be a decision you make with your doctor. However, a warning statement at the bottom indicates that the multivitamin has not yet been evaluated by the FDA. It is unclear if the makers are seeking this approval at this time.
How to Use TeloVite
TeloVite is meant to be taken three times a day, using one tablet at each meal. The instructions indicate that it is “okay” to take the three pills in different combinations, but stresses the importance of consuming the supplement with food.
Pricing of TeloVite
TeloVite purchases must be made through the website’s store. The multivitamin is available as a 30-day, 60-day, or 120-day supply. To save money, you can enroll in the VIP program, which seems to eliminate the cost of shipping.
The 30-day supply costs $69.95, plus shipping and handling.
The 60-day supply costs $119.90, plus shipping and handling.
The 120-day supply costs $199.90, plus shipping and handling.
If you buy two bottles, you can get the first one free, as indicated by radio broadcasts. You would have to pay $89.97, which is a savings of $130.00. You also get a free bottle of Omega-3 as part of the special. This special is only offered in the United States.
Deliveries take approximately 5-7 business days, whereas international shipping takes about two weeks.

Is TeloVite a Good Value?
While the price for each package may be a good value, the minerals and ingredients included seem to be very risky to your overall health.
