I love to read about and research all of the latest skin care ingredients and the breakthrough technologies and products that address the aging process. Changing up my skin care routine and trying new products based on my findings is exciting. A little self-indulgence and pampering are so worth it to make me feel younger and more confident. What really thrills me, though, is when I try a new product that truly works well on my skin, but doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars.
Over the past month, I have been using Sublime Beauty Ageless Serum with Renovage & Matrixyl ($49). This is indeed one of those rare bargain finds that is worth more than a first look. Both Renovage and Matrixyl are two anti-aging superstars. Renovage, also known as trepenone, is a compound that stabilizes the teleomeres in skin cells to help extend the life of them. Matrixyl is an essential peptide that boosts collagen. What a dynamic duo!
The serum is in a bottle with a pump dispenser that works easily and efficiently. Only one pump worth of product is needed to tap over my face, neck and décolletage. I apply it right after cleansing and toning and before I apply other moisturizers and treatments. The scent is very subtle and pleasant, and the serum is soft to the touch. It goes on effortlessly and really seems to absorb almost instantly on contact. The serum is creamier than its counterparts and stands on its own as a serious and very effective moisturizer.
Positive changes I have noticed include a smoother surface with less obvious pores, particularly around the nose and cheeks. My skin looks more lifted, especially around the mouth area that can appear droopy and hollowed. Also nice is that it doesn’t irritate my fifty-something, somewhat sensitive skin.
Sublime Beauty Ageless Serum is at irrefutably reasonable price point for a product of this caliber and quality. It is a product I would deem most suitable and highly recommended for all seasons, ages and skin types. This product line is so aptly named in sync with what I have experienced thus far with using the Ageless Serum. The other Sublime Beauty products look to be equally transforming, and I’m now inclined to try the Ageless Line Smoother and Ageless Rapid Skin Tightener, both of which also contain Renovage and Matrixyl.
